38 weeks & 6 days

Ohhh ho ho ho ho little love muffin you are almost here!!!! I am overjoyed and filled with excitement. We went to the doctors today and heard your heartbeat. I just cant believe it. Your heart sounds perfect according to the doctor. Its beating nice and strong ( that puts me at ease )

at this point youre probably about : 19 inches long, and about 6.8 to 7 pounds

At this point you're fully formed,and ready to make your debut. However, I am leaving that completely up to you.  Your hands can grasp really well now, and you have been testing that out. I can feel you grasp and punch at things. Its okay... I dont mind too much.

Since you've turned and are ready to bust out at anytime like alien or chuck norris, i feel you try and stretch your legs. I'll tell you something, I'm short waisted. Im more legs than waist. And when you stretch, your little feet have wrapped themselves around my right side under my ribs and close to my back.. possibly over my kidneys. Tiny kicks and tickles are what I feel. The discomfort is only temporary and I honestly dont mind the few seconds of pain or crazy muscle twinges.

So until I write again, I'll post some photos and show you where we are at.

Baby Shower # 2

We were blessed with a second baby shower for you sweet child. Your Florida family & friends also wanted to help welcome you into the world. It was quite the perfect day. The sun was shining, the food was plentiful, and the party was wonderful. I just can't quite seem to express to you how many people are so anxious to meet you. You are very fortunate coming into these families. You will be loved so much, by so many. And the prayers, oh my goodness you have been blanketed in prayers from the very beginning!! Don't you ever think for one minute that you will ever be alone, and that you are alone- you practically have a whole army of people cheering you on.

September 6th, 2014

The party was hosted by your Aunt Tiffany, and Uncle Shad. ( you're gonna love them - what a fun house to visit ). It was held at their home in Haines City, Florida at about 1:30 pm.  What a beautiful day, just as the party began the rain started to fall. Thank goodness for the roof over our head. You received gifts and gift cards, which will all be put to good use. Car seats, diapers, wipes, clothes, bottles, etc you name it you'll have it kiddo.

Week 36 & 37

Well little rascal, here we are at week 36 and week 37. I'm combining these two because the doctors said all that's going on from week 36-40 is you're preparing for your grand finale. Putting on weight, sleeping, dreaming, and gaining even more weight. To me, that's pretty eventful.

You weigh about 6 pounds

And 

You measure about 18-19 inches

I can't wait for you to arrive and meet everyone ( in moderation though, because it is flu season).  They'll have to go though a rigorous hand washing process, and I may make them wear hazmat suits. Just kidding- but not about the hand washing. I don't want you to get sick and be a weak baby. You were born to be strong  

I'm so sorry that things are getting very cramped in there. I feel your every move. From your hands to your feet. You wiggling that cute little baby butt, and you wallowing your head around and burrowing around to try and get comfortable. It won't be long love bug, I promise. I'm going to try and keep you in there and safe as long as possible.  When you are ready to come out, come on. I just want to make sure that everything is perfect. 

You've put on quite the show and I've enjoyed watching you squirm around, especially after breakfast. You love it when I put peanut butter on my toast or waffle. You just move sooo much- I hope it's because you get excited.  

Time for me to go and try to finish up your room. Sweet baby, I love you more than you'll ever know, you are one in a gazillion little jelly bean.
